I went one night with a group of my girlfriends 1 girl being African American & the rest of us we're hispanic and white. We make it to the door and they let us all in no problem just asking for our proper Texas ID & $5. But when my African American friend got to them they asked for her student ID after looking at her proper Texas ID. We then asked him why he didn't ask the other 7 of us for our student ID's and only her because that made no sense she had her proper Texas ID. He had no explanation and refused to let her in because she didn't bring her student ID with her (because who takes that to a club?) I believe that was racial discrimination at it's finest. I've never in my life been involved with race problems until that night, & it made me so angry and dissapointed that my friend couldnt enjoy her night because of some stupid rule that only applied to her. Will not be going back due to this problem their door people seem have with African American people.
If there was ONE good place for dancing on Northgate, then places like this would go out of business immediately, but alas I have to go here
