2. She claimed that the computer had "glitched" my appointment and hadn't registered and so I would have to come back in an hour. I find it more likely that she was outside smoking instead of checking her online appointments to make sure she booked them all into the system.

4. I was not offered a seat, as there were none in the front room. I was made to stand and fill out my paperwork while the receptionist and massage therapist stood in silence and watched me.

5. My massage therapist smelled like smoke, which gives me migraines.

The rest of the staff is great as well. They take the time to talk you through your problem areas as well as what areas you would prefer them to focus for your visit. I would definitely recommend this spa to friends and family in the Bryan-College Station area.

1. When I pulled up the receptionist was smoking an e-cigarette outside and only came in when she saw I was a customer.

I just had a 35 minute message by Nöel and it was so nice! I recommend this place to anyone!

The actual massage pressure and tempo were adequate and my massage therapist did an excellent job of getting knots out, but that was the only good part of my experience.

7. I was not offered a towel at the completion of the massage and had to use the blanket to literally scrape excess oil buildup off of my skin before getting dressed.

My husband and I have gone to A Healing Touch several times and have always had a positive experience. The ambiance is always good, the facility is clean and the staff is courteous. Although the office is a little on the small side, you hardly notice once you are receiving your therapy. The best therapist at the spa, and my husband and I both agree, is Lindsey! We always request her and are so pleased when she is available.

With that said, I have given this business 2 stars for several reasons:

If you are like me and save up your money to get a massage once in a blue moon, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

6. There was no scentsie, diffuser, candle or any type of spa like smell in my room, nor was there any music playing. The oil used did not have an odor so I silently laid there in the quiet room with the smell of smoke lingering over me.

Ladies there were very skilled and treated me and my wife like royalty

We booked an 85 minute massage with champagne and chocolate on Valentine's Day. We had to sit separately in the waiting room to eat and drink because there was only one chair that fit two people which was taken (it didn't feel very special). We were put in a room that was clearly not typically for couples massage, our masseuse was vocalizing her unhappiness with the room. Then we were only given a 55 minute massage. Once we left the room the masseuse basically just said oops and sent us on our way. Way to ruin Valentine's Day Healing Touch. I was most disappointed because the massages were very good but the lack of customer service was not unacceptable. I called and asked for a manager on the Monday after and did not hear back by Wednesday. I then called on Wednesday and a day later still haven't heard back. I tried to give them time to fix the issue but my wife and I will not be returning.

Overall the customer service was abysmal and left me feeling like a burden rather than a customer paying for a service and experience. I felt like a rushed after thought who was a hassle rather than someone receiving a relaxing experience.

3. When I came back there was no one at the front. I waited a good 5 minutes before the same receptionist made her way to her desk.

Edit: I changed my review from a 2 to a 4, would be a five if not for the incident below. The manager contacted me, 5 days after I called the first time and offered my wife and I another massage for them to show us what the environment they strive to achieve. The second massage was great, lasted the correct amount of time and we both had a great experience. We are willing to put the previous experience behind us and try them on our next couples massage.

Let me qualify my experience by reminding everyone this was MY experience and might not fully express everyone's view of this establishment.
