Awful experience! Showed the stylist a pic of my own hair when it was cut/colored 2 months prior. Besides the fact that it was a outrageous $210.00 for a cut, color and highlights..it looked awful! The base was black and the highlights were a green blond. It was supposed to be a dark brown with a couple shades lighter brown for the highlights. Ended up going back the next day for them to try to fix.
Ashton Polson is the best! She's been my hairdresser for 6 years and has never let me down. The whole team is amazing!
I would not recommend Chrome to anyone! It was the most expensive cut/highlight I have ever had and the worst. I try not to be that person that complains and makes a big deal out of things so I was just going to deal with the highlight she did and move on. I told a few people how much I paid and showed them my hair and everyone convinced me that I needed to go back in and have them highlight my roots again. When she was giving me highlights she didn't get close to my scalp at all. My brown roots were an inch long after she was done with my hair. So I decided to call in and ask if I could get all the roots she missed highlighted. I told the lady when my appointment was and that I didn't call earlier because I was on vacation but my hair has been bothering me, especially for how much a spent on it. It took her forever to look it up and she said that it's been too long. I could tell I was getting nowhere with her so I asked if I could at least have the top part of my hair done where I part my hair. She just kept giving me other options, all for which I had to pay for. Then she said she would talk to the manager and call me back. When she called me back she told me the same thing. She said I needed to call within 2 weeks because roots can grow out. I wish my hair grew that fast! I find it really hard to believe that someone could have roots as long as mine within 2 weeks. I asked when I had to call by to get it redone at no charge. She said 2 weeks again. So I said okay well it hasn't been 2 weeks. Today is Tuesday and my appointment was on a Wednesday. Tomorrow would actually be 2 weeks. I'm assuming she was looking at the computer calender and wasn't saying anything so I just said that's fine, I'll just go somewhere else. Not being happy with my hair is one thing. I understand we all have bad days and make mistakes. I was giving them the opportunity to fix it and make their customer happy. I was disappointed the most about the management. Not only did the lady at the desk tell me they wouldn't fix it, the manager refused to also. I was even calling within the 2 weeks which was supposed to be their policy. The whole time they were just trying to get more money out of me. So again, I would not recommend this place. I'm sure they have some good stylists and some bad. At the end of the day if you're not happy with your hair the management is not going to go above and beyond to make you happy. They won't even follow their policy.
The stylist are very friendly, but dang, way too expensive and not a quality service.
First time here, didn't have to wait long so that was good. My stylist was busy drying her clients hair when she had someone take over for her to start on mine. Weird. I showed her a picture of dark brown hair color I liked and she applied the color. As I was sitting, her next client shows up and she starts on her hair. Someone else takes me to shampoo my hair while her NEXT client comes in and she starts on her hair. I sit in the bowl for a good 10-15 minutes. I tell her I want a trim and she does it really quick, under 5 minutes. She dries my hair and it looks black.. I can tell she missed a couple spots because my hair is naturally blond. I don't look over it too much. It's a week later and the previous color I had in my hair, red, is showing through. It upsets me because I didn't want any of that color anymore. She was obviously in a rush due to the extreme over booking. She was really nice, but I don't think ill be going back. I would like for a stylist to be focused on what she's doing to my hair rather than being rushed for her next apt. Poor scheduling.
my son went in and gave the stylist expicit directions to cut his hair. i shud know i usually cut it. I looks like a fuzz ball.
