Dr Calliham is the first Dentist in the history of my teeth to effectively administer local anesthetic. After a bit of drilling I had nerve pain as usual. He administered a second round of local anesthetic before continuing and I felt absolutely nothing for the duration of the procedure, and he was drilling away man! The staff was also great. I was able to get in the next day after having a chunk of my tooth fall out from a previous filling from elsewhere. I'm sure their quick response saved me from a root canal and crown.
Always a pleasant visit. The DH are smiling and happy and they've all worked there a long time. Dr. Calliham is conservative on treatment, only does what is necessary.
Everything is extremely punctual: get there 7 minutes late and they threaten cancellation of appt. I guess some people may find that favorable, not me. The office is very busy, you sit in your chair and wait until somebody catches a minute to come see you. I spent over an hr sitting there while they called my insurance company to verify coverage. Also, I wouldn't call them "gentle handed" when it comes to the actual dental work.. my gums got infected after some harsh handling left several nicks in my mouth.
I have been going to Mike and his staff for all my dental needs for several years now and have ALWAYS enjoyed the experience. His staff is very friendly and well trained. They are all about prevention and are always looking out for my teeth. They encourage me to ask question and that makes me feel good! I would recommend Michael to any and all who are in need of a excellent dentist.
