If I could give this place negative stars I totally would! My experience at Gatsby was horrible. I grew up and lived in college station all my life, moved to Houston and decided to come back home to have fun. But, Gatsby's was sure to make the night miserable. They let us in before the crowd started....there was no cover charge. We left Gatsby's to go somewhere else for a little while… Attempted to go back to Gatsby's
Girlfriend paid $10 cover charge took two steps in and saw lack of people. Asked for her money back but bouncer acted unreasonably and wouldn't give her a refund.
and were approach by the doorman to pay $10 to get in. This was after we've already been in the club. The boys at the door need to get over themselves. Totally, completely, and will never recommend Gatsby's to anybody I know who visits Bryan College Station. My advice to everyone is stay away from this place. They are racist, they're rude, the staff is complete assholes and can make your night all around miserable. Oh and did I mention they're racist to the max.
Fantastic music, but the good review stops there. The drinks are way over priced. $13.50 for house vodka and juice?! The venue is so cramped it's easy to get pushed around by drunk people all night.
I would highly recommend people avoid this bar for many reasons. DON'T GO HERE
Good music despite crying a smaller club type night place
Bouncers are very racist. Watched two African American girls ask the bouncer if there was a cover charge for people 21+ and the bouncer said, "I'll let you know when I get through counting *winks*." They left to go somewhere else then I saw them let a bunch of Caucasians in without even checking their IDs or making them pay a cover charge. The girls came back and were let in for free but they're definitely getting over on people. Not recommended.
Nobody in the bar. Terrible scene. Overpriced.
