This is a good place to just escape from reality for a moment lol if you don't mind the students gets a little Rowdy best part Friday Night karaoke!!! Depending on personality 40 and over if you're looking for a place to be a little calm and quiet this is not the place
Note that I tend to gravitate towards quieter places and usually leave before 10 as it starts to get crowded then.

I have some work buddies that I go with weekly to play pool. It's free before 8, and pretty quiet. Alcohol options are great, but they don't serve any kind of food - not the end of the world as they DO allow outside food.
Bartenders and waiters are nice and are willing to help you out.
No fresh coffee, otherwise...awesome!
