I just wanted to extend my gratitude to the guys at Auto Fix here in College Station. I have been going there for regular maintenance on my vehicle since my first experience with them about 9 months ago when they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and worked with my budget, getting the job done right and in a timely manner. Today, I had my second crisis, and without going into detail, was once again wowed with the service and "above and beyond" ethic that is apparently just all in a day's work for these guys. I can't give them enough praise and highly recommend their services.
Amazing , friendly, looks out for the consumer! I took it in to get look at my SRS light that hadn't gone away. While they look at my car a staff member sat with me and talked to me about it. Then they ended up fixing it and it was an easy quick fix so they didn't charge me. They said they were just glad to help.
This place is ok for an oil change but not much else. They are on the pricey side but they work fast so I've used them for oil changes and decided to try them for something bigger. I took my vehicle in for them to diagnose and fix a vibration that happened when I accelerate. They called me and told me the vibration was an easy fix and that my car needed additional work on an unrelated matter that would cost $400. When I went to pay they said it was going to cost $515. I paid the amount and as I drove away, the vibration began again. Basically, I'm out $515 and my car still shakes. Disappointing.
I went in because my car was messed up. These guys did an amazing job locating the problem (alternator and battery), finding the part, and getting it up and running in just a few hours. If I had gone anywhere else, I would have had to wait for days without a car. Timothy Harrington and his team did a great job for a very reasonable price. I will be back again (hopefully not too soon though).
Very nice service, they changed a tail light bulb without any charge, while the dealer asked for $50.
