My girlfriend took her car to get her axle replaced. The lady at the front desk said it would be a few hours at most. A few DAYS later and she had to basically force Midas to give her car back. She was car-less for three days and Midas didn't care to put it back together and give it to her. They kept saying "it will be done soon", but it never was. DO NOT RELY on Midas to get your car back.
We have taken all of our cars to the College Station Midas for service over the past 20+ years. Our adult children take their vehicles to them as well. They do good work at reasonable prices, they are respectful of our time and property, they are responsive to our questions and concerns, and they are honest! We couldn't ask more of the mechanics that we trust to keep us on the road.
I had a very pleasant experience here. I dropped my car at 5pm on Monday to fix the CV joint and got my car back quickly at 4pm on Tuesday. They had to deal with my insurance company, order the parts and get the job done beautifully in a timely manner! Everyone is helpful, especially the owner Mr. White and the lady Kendra. They are smart, knowledgeable, and patient with all my questions. Really appreciated the service! Thank you!!
Routine oil change appt not completed timely. Staff I spoke with courteous and explained suggested maintenance well. However, discovered air filter removed and not replaced, with cover left loose.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. About a year ago, I brought my car in for a front end alignment and to get my front tires changed and noticed when I got home that there was a HUGE crack in the front bumper. I didn't notice at the shop because I entered from the side, so didn't say anything at the moment, but I called immediately when I noticed and was told to come by the next day when the manager was available to discuss the issue with him. He barely took me seriously saying there's no way his workers did that and wasn't cooperative at all when I asked him to look at the video camera footage. I'm still not convinced that he even watched the videos, but was too busy with school and I didn't prioritize the incident. Today I am still getting texts from the manager asking for my business, when I told him I would never return to the shop after getting my car returned in a worse condition than when I brought it in (I forgot to mention, the alignment was no good because my car still vears hard to the right). All in all, do not do business with this company! He will screw you over then remind you of it every couple months with his sad plea for business.
