Drove through a few billion love bugs and Drew's has the soft bristle brooms out and ready. No high pressure sales to upgrade, got all the bugs off with the basic wash.
Closes at dusk, employees usually start shutting down a half hour before that. So be prepared for there to be no mats to keep you from slipping when vacuuming.
Great price for and awesome job. The prewash by hand done by the staff was actually done right; where it took him longer to get the ridiculous amount of "love bugs" off my grill, but got the job done. Definitely would go back.
I recently visited Drew's Car Wash in order to have my car cleaned up prior to returning home to Austin. In a general sense, I do not leave negative reviews for businesses due to one poor experience there; doing so negatively impacts the business for what may have been a one time fault. I do, however, feel compelled to write a poor review for Drew's to save others from potentially incurring the same problem I had. After leaving Drew's Car Wash there was a very notable tear / scratch in the paint of my car near the bumper. I do not use my car frequently; and I am absolutely sure this scratch was caused by the car wash. I tried to contact Drew's regarding this problem and never managed to get through on the phone; I was constantly redirected to a voicemail which was at max capacity; so, I instead decided to return in-person to have the damage inspected and to see if anything could be done about it. I was told that there was no way the damage could have been caused by the car wash; word for word the same excuse stated in older one-star reviews regarding damaged caused by this car wash. I was offered a free $20 wash; however I did not want to go through the car wash that originally caused this damage a second time. No accommodation was offered for the tear in the paint. For this reason; and for the poor experience I had here, I cannot recommend this car wash.
