I was in a state where I knew no onpe. Buying a used car is stressful enough but to add the fear of getting a flood damaged car almost took me over the edge... And along came Pitt Stop Detail and Auto Sales. I have a flood free car and it runs like champ. It was expertly detailed with great tires (that's important when have your 67 YO mom behind the wheel). I went there today because there were some vehicles I was interested in buying, well one that I found on Craigslist. I came away very impressed. They didn't force or push me to buy, but I will bring my Suburban here for a complete detail job. Loved the people here and on top of it all the owner is a Veteran and for all my veteran brothers and sisters this is a great place to buy a good quality vehicle and a detail job.
About 2 weeks ago we bought a used 2002 Trailblazer from this place, and at time we looked at this vehicle everything seemed fine, and checked out for initial inspection. We were looking for a car we can pay cash for that was it, and after we bought about a week or so the check engine light has come on twice the first one was for a stupid gas cap, and the other was for a gas solenoid. Also the headlights and running lights stopped working only the high beams work, and my husband is fixing everything as we speak. My husband also called them yesterday and they were extremely rude to him saying we bought the car as is this is true my husband was only telling them that they obviously never had the car checked by a real mechanic like they said they did. We do not normally leave review comments like this, but we feel this one to be right since they were rude, and were willingly to give us real answers about the trailblazer. Honestly it's a great running vehicle considering the age and miles, but this little aggravating stuff could have been avoided if they truly had a mechanic look over the trailblazer before selling it. At the time they seemed more focus on receiving their $5000 for the car rather than making sure it was okay to be sold. We will never do business with them, and for us will make it difficult for us to ever trust used car sellers ever again. We still haven't received our plates and inspection sticker yet now we are wondering if they even did that right. So be careful buying used cars from these people just saying. They should never be recommended to anyone just our thoughts.
I have been a customer for years and they have always done a fantastic job detailing my cars. Well worth the price. There is no comparison to the other shops in town. Pitt Stop is the best.
