This review is regarding doctor Corey Pollard and the staff at the Rock Prairie clinic.
- I was double-charged for the X-rays above. Scott & White has still not corrected this over a month later.
- Some of the X-ray technicians do not know what they are doing. On one visit, I had to put my foot in a painful position four times. The technician should know how to get me in the right position for the first X-ray so that repeats are not required. After all that, the doctor determined that the contrast/exposure settings on the X-ray were no good, so I had to re-do them on a different machine anyways.
If S&W is the only place in town that has the specialist you need, consider going there. Otherwise, go to one of the smaller facilities that don't require one hour on the phone and two hours in the waiting room to get 5 minutes with a doctor.
I have all my Doctors at Scott & White and this was the best decision for my health. Everyone there is amazing, the people you speak to when making appointments with, to checking, nurses and physicians. I've always had been made comfortable and my needs taken very seriously.
I can't believe anyone actually gave this place more than one star. I'd give negative if it was an option. Only care about money and trying to bill someone for as much as possible. I wasted to long here and wasn't told anything. Drs would talk to you for 2 minutes and all would tell you something different. Have to call for a nurse 10 times to get scheduled meds. I'm appalled that this is the kind of care people are getting at a "hospital". I will never come to a Scott and white hospital again and while I like my pcp I plan to find someone that's not involved with this joke of a hospital that shouldn't even be trusted to take someone's temperature
Overall, the medical care from the doctor was fine when I actually got to see him. However, here are some of the issues I faced:

- I had an MRI done on Jan 3 and an appointment with the doctor on Jan 11 to review the MRI results. The office staff overbooked on Jan 11, so I had to leave for another appointment before being seen (after waiting an hour past my appointment time). The front desk offered me a make-up appointment on February 8th. Still waiting on the refund from Scott & White for the copay.
Former pediatrician same day wasnt able to help much. So Called to get appt. Took me in same day and even within a hr.. That was so very helpful and my daughter got better fast. Both kids go there now.
- After the missed appointment, I asked the doctor for a referral to a physical therapist or at least a call about the MRI results. No response except a bunch of attitude from the staff. I expect the hourly wage staff to follow their scripts and make no effort to find any solutions, but I am surprised that the doctor could not spend three minutes making a phone call.
