If I could give 10 stars to a doctor, I would give them to Dr. Goen, for sure!
Dr. Goen is the best Pediatrician ever, I feel very lucky to have her as our "Family, Psychologist, Pediatrician Doctor".
We absolutely love Dr Parr and his staff. He takes the time to answer my questions and make sure that I understand everything we have discussed. He is thorough and provides excellent care! I highly recommend UPA.
Dr.Schams is a Terrific listener and A Awesome Physician and my daughter Porscha hopes he never decide to Retire.
We have seen both Dr. Mathews and Dr. Goen. Mathews made me feel very nervous when he was holding my child due to the constant shake in his hands. Overall he was ok, but I requested a new doctor which they did with no problems. We decided on Goen because of many recommendations. My first impression was that she is slow but only because she takes her time with each patient. Now what I do not like about her is that when my son needed a prescription for his formula renewed, instead of calling or going back into his files to find the diagnosis, she made one up. (VERY UNPROFESSIONAL) This resulted in a very embarrassing and inconvenient afternoon. When I talked to the office manager she was just as shocked as I was but she took care of it as fast as possible. But even after all of this I will give this office another try, with a different of course, the staff is amazing.
I like her not only as a Doctor, also as a person, she is always amazing with my 2 girls, listens, and is helpful. She starts off every appointment letting me ask any question I may have and sometimes with a hug when I need it because of some "sick moments" that we had in the past. Our little one got some severe bronchiolitis since she was 2 months, ending sometimes hospitalized, and in ICU, and she always helped a lot with her knowledge and experience and adding some TLC (Tender Loving Care).
So happy I have her as our Pediatrician!
Love Dr. Goen. She makes sure to answer all my questions and concerns and is excellent with my baby! Usually don't have to wait very long after arriving to get placed in a room. They make reminder calls too, which is really helpful!
Also, I want to mention her amazing nurse, Esmeralda, she is very emphatic with us and always is there to help. Big thank you for you!!
