My nurse , Skylar, was kind, professional and made the whole procedure go very smoothly.
Whoever answers the main line doesn't give a very good front door impression.Tried to get the phone number for medical records to give to our new MD (out of state). Got a recorded message. When I called back to ask again, the same person was very rude and sent me to the same voice message. There are great people who work at the Med, but this treatment doesn't inspire confidence.
I had to go to College Station Med Center recently for a day surgery procedure. I had seen some reviews and was a little concerned about going there.
The billing department "Traditions Emergency" is absolutely terrible. Apparently there was a balance I owed that I was not aware of until I got a collections notice. In 20 years I have never had that happen. I promptly called them to see what was up. My final payment of $137.00 didn't go through because my card was lost and the transaction didn't post. So instead of making any reasonable effort to contact me over such a small balance, my credit report is tarnished for 7 years over $137.00. Worst customer service expirence I've had in a long time.
I went in last Saturday in terrible pain, turned out I was passing a kidney stone. I was attended to immediately. The staff was friendly but, more importantly they acted so very quickly to get me relief. From the front desk to the nurses and doctor. I am so appreciative of their efforts. Nice to see health care professionals really caring for their patients.
After going there I can only say that this was the best I have ever been treated at any hospital. From check in to discharge I was treated very professionally and the care was wonderful.
Shelly the anesthesiaologist was great. And Steve,Patti and everyone made the entire experience as comfortable as any hospital procedure could possibly. They also made sure my family was kept informed at all times. Five star treatment
When my mother-in-law was admitted to the ER, every single employee whom assisted with her care went out of her way to make sure she was comfortable and educated the family along the way. Huge thank you to Dr Lacefield, Dr Patel, Beth, Rosemary, Kim, Nora, and Phyllis for taking the time to comfort her and our family while better educating everyone on her diagnoses.
