They worked me in on short notice; got MRI scheduled quickly & even contacted me the same day with the results! Highly recommend - the office staff and Dr. Spaw were both great to work with.
Arrived at 10:00 for a 10:15 appointment. I finally had to leave at 11:45 and reschedule for another day. Was told the doctor came in late and that put everything behind. I'm sure his reasons for being late were important, but I am important, too. I simple call from the doctor to his office to inform everyone that he is running 2 hours late would have been the courteous thing to do. Then we could choose to wait or reschedule. But, it has been my experience that not many doctors care what their patients think, as long as they don't question their diagnosis and pay their bills. Last time I had to wait about an hour, but finally got called back. My recommendation is that if you enjoy waiting rooms, this is the place for you.
I've been a patient of Dr. Spaws for over 4 months. I was scheduled to have a knee replacement surgery July 24th of this year. I canceled the surgery because of my job. I haven't been on my job 6 mths yet and could not take off. I called his office for two weeks straight and left messages. Finally I talked to the lady at the front desk and she gave Dr. Spaw the messages. So he tells me he can't prescribed me any more pain medication until after i have the surgery. I won't be able to have the surgery until September. So in other words I'm suppose to stay in pain until I have surgery. This makes me think that he is all about making the money from the surgery. What was I supposed to have surgery and lose my job? I am so frustrated with this doctor. He knows my situation and it's in both of my knees not just one. Thumbs down for Dr. Spaw
