Never use this Kirks Cleaners! Kirks Cleaners is the same one company with different locations where cleaning is done at one place.
Same day dry cleaning, they did a great job. Great prices. Had a shirt repaired there too, only took a day.
I've used this location for about 3 months, hoping that the customer service would improve, but it did not. The behind-counter staff is just short of being surly toward all customers. Their response to a greeting is usually silence, and they make it plain that they'd rather be doing something else rather than "waiting on" you. As to the quality of their service, I've sent a formal dress shirt in twice for laundry and finishing with heavy starch, only to get it back as if it's been dry cleaned instead of laundered and starched. My last complaint was met with "it's not made of cotton", which the shirt clearly was. Other cleaners have had no problem in laundering and starching my shirt as desired, but Kirk's Cleaners can't seem to do so---nor particularly care. I'm done with them. I see that Beth's review of 2 years ago noted the staff's "politeness", but things have definitely changed. My experience was closer to Ruben's.
This is my very first review in my life because I do not want any other people to have the same terrible experience.
Other than their terrible service, attitudes of a manager (I can give you the name if you want) and other employees were even worse. He hung up on me while I was talking and he told me that he is not even sorry at all because it is not his fault at all. When I told him there was no problem with dry cleaning at a different location, he now said that every dry cleaner has different technology, which means that the technology at Kirks Cleaners just sucks!
I was too late to drop off my close for same day cleaning and I was in trouble because I needed the clothes the following day. The lady at this store asked me to call the main store in Bryan to see if some one could help, I did. They politely helped me get the clothes cleaned and pressed, then returned them to the location nearest to my house (William D Fitch) in less than 4 hours. Very good customer service! Thank you!
I brought one of my favorite jacket with leather trim for dry cleaning. They said there is a chance that they cannot clean it so I told them please don't do it if they think they cannot clean it and just call me. Never got a call and went to pick up the jacket completely ruined!!! They just say it is a manufacture defect and they cannot do anything about it. How irresponsible!
Terrible Terrible Service. They do not deserve even one star.
Dropped clothes off Friday, was told he could bring coupon when picked up. When picked up they said no coupon after service. He's cleaning was $80.00!! They were rude, rude, rude. Their prices are ridiculously high and customer service was BAD. WILL NOT RETURN THERE. Clothes were "cat faced" and not cleaned well.
