This company just bought the complex I have been living in for the past 4 years. I received a couple emails stating that there was a balance owed on my account. A little upset, I went in to speak with someone about it. I was greeted by Conner, who immediately turned my mood around with is impeccable customer service. He was extremely helpful and let me know they were just logging old information for their records. They seemed to have their hands full at the moment, but that did not keep Conner from immediately assisting me, as well as another customer who walked through the door. Great work Conner!
I moved from College Station to Austin a few months ago but I lived in a Real Estate BCS home the entire time I lived in College Station, which was a year. Over that time, we (my roommates and I) had our A/C break (the week I moved in, I slept on the bathroom floor I was so hot), our heater break (when it was "fixed" the repairman they sent out caused a fire in our attic and the entire fire department had to come to our home), our dishwasher, our oven, our disposal, and that is not even the end of it. I have never been so poorly satisfied with a company in my life. They have several people working the phones who are not licensed but will hand out information like they are, only to find out later that is incorrect. Several times happened to me and cost me upwards of $250. I could go on and on about how poorly managed this company is, but suffice to say that if you rent from these people, they may give you an affordable price to begin with, but they will raise your rent, cause you issues, and generally not take care of the place you are living in a timely or proper way. DO NOT RENT FROM REAL ESTATE BCS.
When our washing machine broke down unexpectedly, it was fixed within the week, which was way quicker than I expected.
The customer service at Real Estate BCS is what I like about the company so far. The employees I have interacted with are always very helpful.
It's really unfortunate when you love where you live and have to deal with unorganized management. If you are a property owner, I advise you looking somewhere else. As a renter, I had a very unpleasant experience. They were constantly changing management systems, would never respond to emails, would never call you back unless you hound them at least twice a day, and the entire exit process from leaving my place was a nightmare. Trying to get Kathy to call you back was impossible, and never happened. In fact, I think they just didn't care since I was about to be a previous tenant. On top of constant misinformation anytime I did call, other frustrating things were often anytime I had to work with them. When I first moved in, the walls weren't even painted. They mailed my deposit to my old address, and even changed my mail box keys before my lease ended, meaning I had to take time out of my day to go and get the new mailbox key to access my mail. They gave false information about move out, and because they never respond to emails there is hardly ever any written documentation. Also, because they change their property systems often, make sure that you keep track of your deposit amounts, as they fail to even keep you updated on how they look. Also, they always use the excuse "we have over ____ properties, we are really busy" anytime you ever need anything done, such as your a/c going out or entire closet system falling (both happened) and were extremely difficult to get fixed. And if you live in Texas, it's hot. Not having a/c is not an option. Lastly, they had no official move out process which can mean again no documentation existing, just their words over mine. There were other minor things that occurred, but I highly recommend if you are considering them for your property manager you look elsewhere, as they are a reflection of your properties, and there are better options that exist.
I have purchased to homes with Real Estate BCS and both times the service was amazing. They also help manage my property! Not sure what I would do without Real Estate BCS
