I have nothing bad to say about this location and the staff. Walking in I am always greeted with "Welcome to Petco!" I go straight to Aquatics (the ferrets always catch my eyes and they love to play) and Matt Is one of the best employees who works in the department. He is extremely helpful and knows what he is doing. The tanks are always clean and he takes his time helping me. I would recommend speaking to him if he is there when dealing with ur aquatic needs!! Always have what im looking for. The service is always great. If I ever wanna hold an animal, I just ask and they're usually cool about letting them be handled.
When if comes to Betta fish Do Not get one from here! They take horrible care of them, I didn't not get all the info I need as far as plant reccomendations, knowledge of how fragile and the survival percentage of the baby's are that you can purchase. A lot of Bettas were dead in their cups and most cups were dirty... like very neglected dirty. Brown water, built up food...etc! Very dissapointed. Why even sell them if they are not as important as anything else living in the store. Never going back... not even for things for my dog.
The actual store is fine, but we've made three grooming appointments and had to reschedule all of them. Once they double booked us with another client, then they just didn't have enough groomers show up, and this last time they just didn't put us in the booking system at all. I've had to take off work early for these appointments and that's beyond frustrating. Will not be using the groomers here anymore.
My cats love all of their products, too.
The small animals seem well kept and the fish seem clean and taken care of. The bettas that I've bought here haven't lasted long, but that may be something I've done.
My pups and I always enjoy our trips to this store! They have a great selection of food, toys, and everything else you could want for a puppy or dog.
