I ain't got no choice but to love this place . It's very rare that they don't have what you need in stock . For your bikes . Friendly folks. And an owner that will hang out with you and bs. The prices are as expected . Its Harley . And Lamar needs a raise the dude is a badass
As we were talking he was asking me how the tread looked on my tire… He said he was not trying to sell me a tire, he just likes to always have people go out and pay special attention while it is on their mind.. (and he’s right… I mean come on… This is the front tire… And don’t act like you’ve not had one in the past that needed to be replaced and just kept overlooking it) #Guilty
Had a great time at the grand opening! Very nice shop with a large selection of bikes! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable!
When he told me less than $200 I fell through the floor.. HOW CAN YOU SELL A TIRE THAT CHEAP???? I was immediately like… “And how much for labor”?? Because I knew there had to be a catch, I was getting prepared to be raped on labor… As I awaited his reply so that I could use it as ammo to shoot him down and decline his offer, He says “it’s included”.. #WTH???
Well all right then… IM SOLD... So I set up the appointment and I took it down on the scheduled day…
One of the guys from the SD walked up front to address something on my bike I may want to repair.. I told him if it needed to be replaced I would pay for it… But if the tech thought it would honestly be ok that I would probably decline.. (Signing a waiver of liability, sat with me better than paying a bill for unauthorized work)
A year goes by & I notice that my Harley had a flat… I started calling around for places that can throw me a new tube in the front since I live in suburbia and don’t have a shop.. I didn’t have much luck & then a guy I know gave me a number & said “call this place”.. It was the number to the Harley shop (Which at the time I did not know & had deliberately not called them when I was scrolling through Google for a local solution)
Her name was Dorothy.. We sat and talked about anything except for buying a motorcycle for probably a good 10 minutes.. (I do sales as well and this is a very well-known tool to build rapport)
So I checked.. This is when I noticed that what I remember being “low tread”, had escalated into a few flat spots.. I stopped him mid-sentence & asked him to quote me for a tire & a tube, that I was going to have them both done..
However… When we got into actually talking about the purchase, Dorothy was what I call “zero pressure”… She was more concerned with just telling me all the specs on the bike, rather than pressuring me to buy one right then..
My point of view on this place was changed by one guy who handled a random phone call with the utmost respect and professionalism...
The BEST Harley-Davidson Dealership that I have ever been to. This group runs a tight ship and have the best personnel that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and dealing with. I walked in at 5:30pm and they stayed until everything was finalized. From ownership on down. Thank you for being the best.
Furthermore… Based on the experience I had with the service department and the guys who were so professional back there, I will be taking my bike back to this location for all future services as long as I live in the area..
When I showed up on, they immediately took my bike into the back and began working... They didn’t need me anymore, so I excused myself to walk around the front sales floor… (have you ever tried to walk around the sales floor and avoid the sales team ??)
So a little over a year ago I went into this place for some parts… I didn’t have a very good experience with the guy at the sales counter.. I made a promise to myself based on that one experience, I would never go back and do business with these people again..
The staff here is amazing! Everyone is really nice and will help you with whatever you need! The owner has been there almost every time I've been there and is also very nice. My husband and I bought our first bike here and greatly appreciated all the help to make sure it is both safe and comfortable to ride for the both of us!
I could go into detail about how professional, knowledgeable & informative the SD & sales team were.. But I will just say this..
I don’t remember which one of the three guys I got a hold of in the service dept (Clint Phil or Jeff)… But ever which one it was did an absolutely amazing job in the “customer service department” on our call..
Well, it actually took longer than I had figured before I was approached by one of the sales ladies.. (2 or 3 minutes if I was guessing)
I can’t be sure but I believe I understood it to be a fact that the jack ass I delt with a year ago at the parts counter is no longer employed there…
I will be buying a new Harley sometime in the next 6-12 months… Based on the interaction I had with Dorothy I will buy my bike from her… Even if I have moved by the time that happens… I will drive back to college station to make my purchase..
