Everytime we start at some place at North Gate and end up in Shiner Park in the end! Great country music, lots of crowd, amazing ambience!
P.S. I'm 22 and have been going to this bar for 2 semesters multiple times a week.
The best pub in North gate as they won't charge anything for entry and you will get the best crow inside dancing on the beats.
Shiner park is the place to go on Fridays and Saturdays! It's really crowded with terrific people dancing on the tunes played by DJ! Bartenders are polite and service is really quick. I love this place!
I was kicked out of this bar 20 minutes after buying a Miller Lite with cash. I handed the middle bartender in the back bar a $5 bill, tipped and walked away. About 20 minutes later 2 frat guys walked up to me and told me I had to leave, I stood there dumbfounded and asked why, and they said I stole a beer. I told them who I paid, when, and where the bartender was, yet they didn't care. So, they took a warm, 80% drank beer from me claiming that they "just watched me steal that beer." Complete bulls***. Will no longer spend any money at this this bar, I'll take my business to 12 or the Bakcyard from here on out.
Mostly undergrad scene. Karaoke nights are great on Tuesdays.
