They called me when my dress came in to get there in a week or they would charge me for shipping. So since I live out of town I had my MOH go all the way up there and it was the WRONG dress... I called up there to tell them that I had found the actual dress and that they ordered the wrong number (since nobody had any idea what happened) and they acted like it was no big deal and they didn't know why I was so upset. Maybe because I spent an upwards of $1300 on this dress that is incredibly important to me and I am planning all these things around getting my dress and now I can't do any of that because now I have to wait another 8-10 weeks for the correct dress to come in. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone, and am furious with how this is being handled. Needless to say, I am going elsewhere for my bridal party dresses.
College station Bridesmaid appoinmtent was horrible. Manager was the one not helping me. Then when I complained I was told they were busy. I then asked why they would let me schedule an appointment if they were unable to accomodate? She recommended coming in the middle of the week. There were 3 associates helping 1 other party. They were not understaffed. I pulled the dresses, style and size. Someone else opened room for us. Highly unsatisfied. They also had the nerve of asking if we wanted to order/purchase. No thank you. I could have done all this at macys or anywhere else. How can you anyone to send their closest family and friends to potentially have a horrible experience no thank you. And how embarassing for me to waste everyones time like that.
The sales lady was super sweet! For some one who has never wedding dresses shopped she made the experience wonderful she didn’t push me into anything I didn’t want she was very helpful.
My experience finding dresses for my bridesmaids was wonderful! Everyone was super helpful and patient while I tried to find a dress. We found a beautiful dress that was flattering on all four of my bridesmaids and we ordered them that day! I would recommend for anyone!
The consultant was very sweet and apologetic which I appreciated, but there really was just no excuse for the mistakes especially given the amount of money we paid. I regret coming here for alterations and wish I had gone with a local seamstress, especially when the prices were actually pretty comparable. I didn't expect perfect results the first round, but the mistakes that were made were so off and needlessly so. I will not be using David's Bridal for any future alterations needs and I will advise my friends and family to steer clear of them as well.
Do not come here for alterations. I almost never write reviews but I was so severely disappointed with the quality of work I received for my bridal dress alterations that I had to warn others against experiencing something similar. There were panels on the front of the dress that were sewn shut/inside out for no reason (the floor model dress had nothing like that) and neither side matched. The hem was also very sloppy and poorly done, and the spot where the sleeves met the bodice differed by an inch on the right side when compared to the left side. We also noticed a few tiny tears and stains in the fabric that were not there previously (thankfully not in a very visible spot).
