The worst. Seeing me for the first time he took me off medications even though I told him everything was fine. I didn't go to him; he took over for my regular Psychiatrist. He doesn't even know that you don't write Schedule II DRUGS ON A regular Rx pad even though I told him repeatedly. The truth there is, I made him mad and that was a little Dr. C justice. She just won't get her medication for making me mad. He has a Donald Trump complex and gets his ego bruised easy. Avoid him and find a real Dr. this one is truly a quack

Last year I had come in for a mental assessment. Other families had come in after me but I was seen last. I signed in at 9pm but was not seen until 12am. It wasn't until I finally decided to get up and leave that somebody came out to see me after a coworker retrieved them. I finally received an assessment and left at 1am. I came in to an empty lobby, and though I'm sure it was incredibly busy behind the scenes, 4 hours is pretty freaking ridiculous. However, I will give them, the staff was incredibly friendly.

DO NOT GO HERE. I was here for less than 3 days only to realize that it is THE 8th CIRCLE OF HELL. Most new patients are put on the 300 block due to lack of space. However, the 300 block is for schizophrenia, delusions, and psychotic conditions. This made my severe anxiety exponentially worse. On top of that most nurses blatantly ignore your questions bc of loads of paperwork. DR TORRES is an abomination to the medical field. He spoke to me for less than 2 minutes, called me by the wrong name twice (with my chart in front of his face), and walked away from me while I was speaking to him. Not only that, he prescribed me four medications with only two minutes of consultation - two of which are TRANQUILIZERS and one which is HIGHLY ADDICTIVE. With no explanation of what these drugs do or what side effects they have.

The initial process of evaluating someone to see if the need to be an inpatient is handle very poorly and they bring in a computer with a doctor on the screen to speak with the patient..this is very unprofessional and cheaply done..how can a doctor on a computer screen visibly see a person's non verbal reactions. It's handle in a very slow process that takes several hours to complete. There is a protocol they are supposed to adhere to but that isn't followed if their too busy that day. My daughter has only been there for 1 day and their staff have broken 3 of these so called protocols that are to be followed..A nurse called me today to get my consent to give my child 2 different and very scary drugs to my daughter which I promptly said no to..then after I ask the nurse to let me speak with a supervisor about their breaking protocol I received no call or response of any kind..If you care about your child then find a better place to take them to for help.

Please be careful where you take your children. My daughter was here and it's awful. The medical staff does not respect your wishes wether you approve medication or not it is still given to them. The techs let them make calls to whom ever they want even if you didn't write them on the list. The medical staff is rude and tell your child exactly what they think of you, so yea thanks Kathy! Irresponsible, my daughter wasn't even discharged by a nurse or dr a tech brought her out and they didn't even tell me what was going on, at discharge her home medication was misplaced. Still discharged with suicidal ideation.
